Maternity Care
Obstetrics & Maternity
Safe Pregnancies, Gentle Beginnings
Obstetrics & Maternity services support mothers from pre‑pregnancy planning through delivery and the postnatal period. Medical care, counselling, and close monitoring are combined to protect both mother and baby, especially when pregnancies are high‑risk.
Care throughout pregnancy
Routine antenatal visits track blood pressure, weight, baby’s growth, and lab parameters. Screening identifies conditions such as gestational diabetes or hypertension early, when they are easier to manage. High‑risk pregnancies receive tailored plans, more frequent reviews, and joint discussions with neonatology and pediatric teams to prepare for delivery and newborn care.
After delivery
Postnatal care focuses on physical recovery, mood and mental health, breastfeeding support, and early newborn checks. Mothers receive advice on rest, nutrition, warning signs that need attention, and when to attend follow‑up visits for themselves and their babies. The transition from maternity to pediatric and newborn care is smooth and coordinated.
Lactation & Feeding Support
Confident Feeding, Supported Mothers
Lactation & Feeding Support helps families navigate one of the most important early tasks—feeding the baby comfortably and effectively. Guidance is practical, compassionate, and tailored to each mother‑baby pair.
How we support you
Support includes help with latching and positioning, solving pain or soreness, and improving milk supply. Mothers learn how to express and safely store milk and how to manage mixed feeding when needed. The team also offers advice on when and how to introduce solids, plus simple postpartum nutrition guidance to help mothers recover while feeding their babies.
For special situations
Extra support is available for mothers of premature or NICU babies, twins, or babies with medical conditions that affect feeding. Lactation experts work closely with neonatology and pediatric teams so that medical and feeding plans fit together.
